Danielle Rivera, LCSW
Secretary
Los Angeles County
Danielle is a Children’s Service Administrator II and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at The Department for Children and Family Services (DCFS), Los Angeles County with 12 years of supporting children of all ages and their families with the goal of keeping children safe. By focusing on supporting families at their most vulnerable moments, Danielle has been able to put my MSW degree she earned at the University of California, Los Angeles to good use. Over the years, her strengths at DCFS have garnered some recognition for early child development work through supporting training needs, participating in community forums, utilizing reflective practice in supervision groups and developing a policy for children aged birth to five. She may spend her days at DCFS, but it’s the connection that she feels to her community’s welfare that gets her up in the morning. She continues to grow and develop and she is a current fellow at the Napa Parent-Infant Mental Health Fellowship.
