Lara has a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education with a Clear Teaching Credential. She graduated from the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship and is endorsed as an Infant-Family Advanced Transdisciplinary Mental Health Practitioner (IF-ATMHP). Lara is certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.
Lara is passionate about raising resilient children and helping them get off to the very best start. She loves to teach the Gottman Bringing Baby Home program. Lara and her husband Marshall have been married for over 22 years. She got started in this work as a tribute to their son, Timothy, who passed away from mitochondrial disease when he was 17 months of age.
