Marcy Erickson is a retired Public Health Nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics with a concentration in Child Development from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. After years working as a preschool teacher and raising small children of her own, Marcy returned to school to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California. She then worked for six years as a clinical nurse in the labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal intensive care units. In addition she taught childbirth, breastfeeding, and infant massage classes until 2018. In 2001, Marcy began her career as a Public Health Nurse at the Ventura County Health Care Agency. She worked in several different programs including Child Abuse Prevention, Dependency Drug Court, Bright Beginnings, and Maternal Child-Adolescent General Field Nursing.

Marcy has been certified in Infant Massage, Lactation Consultation, and the Parent-Child Interactive Feeding and Teaching Scales. She completed the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship in 2008-2009. She also completed the Phase I certification program in the Neurosequential Model of Therapy.

Marcy lives in Ventura with her husband of 49 years, David. They have three grown daughters and 7 beautiful grandchildren.
